AA Central Office of El Paso, Texas
Alcoholics
Anonymous if a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength
and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others
to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for AA membership is a desire
to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self
supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect,
denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in
controversy, neither endorses or opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to
stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
If you have a desire to stop drinking and your drinking is causing you problems -- or, if you have discovered that living without alcohol is uncomfortable, and you get restless, irritable or discontented when not drinking -- it is highly suggested that you find a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. You may discover why you feel this way.
We hope that you find something useful on our website and that you keep coming back. Perhaps someday, we will meet, as we trudge the road of happy destiny.
